When a 41 year old man who had gone out on his motorcycle hadn't come home overnight, his family went looking for him and found him deceased amongst the bushes at Bitney Springs and Rudd Road. His motorcycle was off the west edge of the roadway and Nevada County Sheriff's say that the evidence indicates that he drove over a dirt berm on his 74 Honda 350 XL at a high rate of speed and was thrown 33 feet where he collided with a wooden power pole along the west side of the road. Nevada County Sheriffs are still investigating the accident. It's unknown whether drugs or alcohol was involved. The victim's name has not yet been released.
