Last weekend horse rider Patricia Uccio spent a night in the woods after her horse stumbled and threw her off. Uccio was found by Nevada County Search and rescue volunteers Saturday morning. She and her friends returned to the Alder Creek area of Truckee, where the horse was last seen, but have not been able to locate it. Search and Rescue Coordinator Corpral Bill Netherby with the Nevada county Sheriff's department has a short description the horse.

Corpral Nerthby is asking anyone who may see the horse to call the sheriff's office at 265-1471
