Nevada Irrigation District work crews have begun work on the Banner Cascade Pipeline project on Banner Mountain. N-I-D is advising that people driving in the area may experience delays this week along both Idaho-Maryland Road and Banner Lava Cap Road as traffic is reduced to one lane while crews work to remove brush and grind stumps in the area. N-I-D is also advising that motorists may be rerouted off Madrone Forest Drive until August sixth, as crews install pipeline, and motorists may experience delays along Banner Lava Cap as crews install pipeline there. Flaggers will be directing traffic in all of these areas.
